A new pool is exciting - until you realize the area around it is just bare dirt and grass. Mowing right up to the edge is a hassle, the ground gets muddy fast, and it never quite looks finished. That's exactly what this homeowner was dealing with after getting their above-ground pool set up.

We came in and built a solution that handles all of that at once. A river rock border was installed around the full perimeter of the pool, contained by a clean concrete edging that gives the whole thing a sharp, defined look. No more mowing around the base. No more mud. The homeowner can run the mower right up to that edge and be done with it.

From the patio to the pool steps, we also built out a river rock walkway with circular stepping stones set right down the center. It gives you a solid, clean path to get to the water without tracking up wet grass or dirt. Practical and sharp-looking at the same time.

The grading work underneath it all matters just as much as what you see on top. We made sure the area around the pool was properly prepared and leveled before anything went in - that's what keeps the rock sitting right and the edging holding its shape over time. Sloppy prep work shows up fast, so we don't cut corners on it.

The end result is a setup that holds up, stays neat, and actually makes yard maintenance easier. That's the kind of hardscape work that pays for itself every time you mow.
